インドネシアの助産師教育に関する報告 Report on Midwifery Education in Indonesia 植村 裕子 松下 有希子 木戸 久美子 Yuko Uemura Yukiko Matsushita Kumiko Kido open access 224,495.907,498.14 インドネシア共和国，助産師教育，ダイレクトエントリー課程 Republic of Indonesia，midwifery education，direct-entry programs ＊Correspondence to : Yuko Uemura, Faculty of Health Sciences, Kagawa Prefectural University 281-1 2023 年6 月，第33 回ICM（International Confederation of Midwives）3 年毎大会がインドネシ ア，バリで開催された．今回は，世界の助産師教育とICM 大会の開催国であるインドネシアの助 産師教育を概観したことを報告する．世界の助産師教育では，日本のような看護の基礎教育修了者 の課程より，ダイレクトエントリー課程を採用している国々が多かった．ダイレクトエントリー課 程の国々では，助産師が自律して助産実践を実現していることが窺えた．インドネシアは日本より 合計特殊出生率が高く，出生数もはるかに多い国である．インドネシアにおける現代の助産師教育 は1945 年以降にはじまり，現在は高校卒業後のダイレクトエントリー課程が採用されている．村 の助産師プログラム（1989 年）により各村，農村地域に助産師を配置することで，インドネシア の助産師数は拡大し，母子の健康水準が高められたといわれている．インドネシアでは2019 年助 産法の制定により，助産師という職業を認め，助産師と専門サービスを利用する女性が法的に保護 されることとなった．助産法では助産師の登録が5 年間の更新制となり，助産師の継続した教育が はじまっている．これにより，インドネシア全体の助産師の質が確保され，助産師が母子の健康に さらに寄与できることが期待されている． The 33rd International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) Triennial Congress was held in Bali, Indonesia in June 2023. This report is an overview of midwifery education in the world and in Indonesia. Worldwide, many countries have adopted direct-entry programs rather than postcompletion ones such as those in Japan. In countries with direct-entry programs, midwives are more likely to practice autonomously. Indonesia has a higher total fertility rate and a much higher number of births than Japan. Modern midwifery education in Indonesia began after 1945, and currently offers a direct-entry program after high school graduation. The Village Midwife Program (1989) has expanded the number of midwives in Indonesia by placing them in each village and rural area, which has increased the standard of health for mothers and children. In Indonesia, the Midwifery Law of 2019 recognizes the profession and provides legal protection for practitioners and women who use their professional services. This law makes the registration of midwives renewable every five years, requiring continuous education.
